I’m an Irish journalist who’s spent the past decade working for BBC News in London, specialising in technology and international news.
Lately, I’ve been running the BBC’s international technology newsletter. Before that, I was working as a front page editor and senior journalist on the BBC News website, writing, editing, and delivering the top stories of the day for the world’s most-visited website.
I started out in the BBC as a journalism trainee in 2015: one of 15 people given life-changing graduate-level training in radio, TV, and digital over a year-long programme. Since then I’ve used it all, delivering live radio hits to BBC domestic and World Service radio, doing a little on-screen work, and always, first and foremost, working on digital-first platforms.
